Trial terms
The Spred is currently a pre-release trial available only to households in the United States. You must be 18 or older to create an account. By using The Spred you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use the service.
Not medical or dietary advice
The Spred is a meal-planning tool. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for guidance from a doctor, dietitian, or other qualified professional. This applies with equal force to allergen and nutrition information: it can be wrong, missing, or out of date, and your household is responsible for checking ingredient labels before eating anything The Spred suggests. If anyone in your household has a medical condition, food allergy, or dietary restriction, follow your clinician's guidance over anything generated by this app.
AI-generated content
Meal plans, recipes, and assistant responses are generated by AI models and can contain mistakes: wrong ingredient counts, missed allergens, inaccurate nutrition estimates, or instructions that don't make sense. Review anything the app generates before you rely on it, especially where an allergy or a health condition is involved.
Acceptable use
Use The Spred only for its intended purpose: planning meals and shopping for your own household. Do not use it to store or process someone else's personal data without their permission, attempt to disrupt the service, or try to access another household's data.
No warranty
As a pre-release trial, The Spred is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the service will be available, error-free, or accurate, including in the allergen and nutrition information it generates.
Termination
You can stop using The Spred and close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or end the trial, or any individual account, at our discretion, including if these terms are violated.
